Who are the top three medical thriller authors? I vote for Robin Cook, Karin Slaughter, and my absolute favorite, Tess Gerritsen. If you enjoy a good medical thriller, pick up a book by Tess Gerritsen. You will be up all night, unable to set it down. I even read one of her books while in labor. The doctors and nurses couldn't believe I could read while in labor, but seriously, I couldn't stop.
If you are going to start with one of her books, I would suggest picking up The Surgeon or Harvest.

I read Robin Cook too. I liked the first one, but then it felt more like the recipe - the subject is slightly different, but the steps are always the same. But now I am tempted to try Tess Gerritsen. Maybe I'll pick her book up for my upcoming business trip.
