I have been a fan of Jeremy Mayfield since his RCA days. And he never ceases to amaze me and make me proud to be a fan. After he was released from his team last year, he never gave up. A month ago, he still didn't have a team, a car, a sponsor. But...Jeremy pulled it all together because he is a true racer and no matter how he has to make it happen, he will make it happen. He pulled a team together from guys that had been laid off. He has a small shop and secured a sponsor for the first five races. And then, against all odds, he raced his way into the Daytona 500. Jeremy, you are amazing. Thank you from a true fan. Congrats and good luck this season!

EVERY TIME I see Jeremy Mayfield's name I think of you. Remember how you told him you hauled ass to get his autograph at a K-Mart (I think it was a K-Mart? Do K-Marts even still exist???)
I do remember. It is one of my favorite stories. It was K-mart! I think all but one of the K-marts around here closed.
