You may have heard in the news that a couple of Post Offices in Texas have been forced to take down small posters that say'IN GOD WE TRUST,'
The law, they say, is being violated. Anyway, we heard proposed on aradio station show, that we should all write ' IN GOD WE TRUST'on the back of all our mail. After all, that's our National Motto, and - all the money we use to buy stamps. We think it's a wonderful idea.We must take back our nation from all the people who think that anything that offends them should be removed.
If you like this idea, please pass it on and DO IT. The idea of writing or stamping...'IN GOD WE TRUST ' on our envelopes sounds good to us.
It's been reported that 86% of Americans believe in God. There-fore, we have a very hard time understanding why there's such a mess about having God We Trust!' on our money and having God in the pledge of Allegiance. Could it be that WE just need to take action and tell the 14% to 'sit down and shut up'?
This blog is going to change format a little as I explore starting over as being a One Plus Two versus a Two Plus Two family.

I Recommend..
...Jello pudding singles. They are really easy to make; just add 1/2 cup of cold milk, stir, and let sit for 5 minutes. The girls and I tried the vanilla one tonight, and we loved it!

Damn the MagnaDoodle

Damn the MagnaDoodle to hell!
Addison (the youngest) loves to play with the MagnaDoodle, especially the pen. However, the string that attaches the pen to the "pad" is very short and does nothing but frustrate the crap out of her. So she just screams and screams. I would cut the string and put myself and my daughter out of our misery, but then my other daughter would freak. As it is, we have lost the square magnastamp somewhere in this hellhole and Savannah has cried about that three times today. This damn toy is going to be the death of me.

The Cutest Song
I am pulling out my hair because I cannot find my video camera. Where on earth can it be? Tonight, Savannah sang the cutest song. Between the words, the way she sang it, and her facial expressions...well...I was laughing till I cried.
Good morning
Good morning

How are you?

What? Do you not understand that you are breaking the law and encouraging others to do the same? Do you not understand that you are perpetuating a Socialist agenda which is going to be the doom of this country if left unchecked? Do you understand that you are doing nothing but encouraging people to not work, default on their loans, and expect hardworking Americans to shoulder the load? You should be ashamed of yourselves! Get out of our country!

Living on 1500 In a Year
I was intrigued to check out this family's blog, and went on a couple of times to read posts. When I went to pull it up today, it had been removed. I read in a news story that they had to remove it due to threats. That is sad. What the heck are people threatening them about? Geez.

Cooking Tip I Want to Remember
When boiling corn on the cob, add a pinch of sugar to help bring out the corn's natural sweetness!
Jeremy Mayfield = True Racer

I have been a fan of Jeremy Mayfield since his RCA days. And he never ceases to amaze me and make me proud to be a fan. After he was released from his team last year, he never gave up. A month ago, he still didn't have a team, a car, a sponsor. But...Jeremy pulled it all together because he is a true racer and no matter how he has to make it happen, he will make it happen. He pulled a team together from guys that had been laid off. He has a small shop and secured a sponsor for the first five races. And then, against all odds, he raced his way into the Daytona 500. Jeremy, you are amazing. Thank you from a true fan. Congrats and good luck this season!

Found Site
I found a cool website today. In addition to interesting articles and cool recaps, it has some great brain teasers and quizzes. Have you ever tried to list all the presidents in under 8 minutes or all 50 states in under 5? What about all of Elvis' number one hits? Check it out...

Valentines Day Wish

Just in case my husband actually reads my blog (or anyone that will pass on information to him), I want to pass on my Valentine's Day wish list. There is only one thing on it. I want the Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy "Sleep" Body Lotion (Lavender and Vanilla). That's it. Simple isn't it? I just love this stuff. It is so soothing and smells so great. I love putting it on before climbing under the covers. Ahhhhh......

Aquatic Life
We visited The Living Museum in Newport News over the weekend. Savannah was enthralled watching the fish and sea turtles, jellyfish and sea horses. She loved all of the animals in the sea. she wasn't nearly as intrigued by the land animals and birds. Interesting. Was it because you could get closer to the fish and turtles? I wonder. She did love to look at the sea life, but when given the opportunity to touch it...um...no thanks. Savannah had the opportunity to touch a starfish, a horseshoe crab, and a regular crab and passed on all three. Addison touched the horseshoe crab and I actually took advantage of getting to feel what a living starfish feels like. I have to wonder, though about the differences. She has no problem petting animals in a petting zoo, but didn't want to touch the sea life. She just wanted to splash in the water. LOL! We will see what her favorite animal turns out to be down the road.

Mary Jack and Doggy

Well, the actual name of the show is Jack's Big Music Show, but to Savannah (and now us), it is Mary Jack and Doggy. This show is the best. It has some sayings and songs repeated in each episode that the girls sing and dance to and it also has new songs and dances in each episode for variety. Oh my gosh, if you are going to give this show a try (you can find it on Noggin), you have to check out the episode called Scat Cat. It has a spot with the Wiggle Dance. OMG! It is so much fun!
Oh Puh-leeze!
I read the following tip for getting a picky eater to eat better:
Minimize distractions at the table. If a sibling is running around nearby, or a cartoon beckons from across the room, your toddler may have trouble maintaining interest in the food being served. Try to make meals relaxed and quiet.
Um....well....since I have a one year old (who is wild and VERY into throwing food and plates) and a two year old (who is extremely picky) at the table, I find it a very daunting task to minimize distractions. There is nothing but distractions at our dinner table. In fact, I could record our meals and post it to make people feel better about the stress levels at their dinner table. Hmmm...too bad I couldn't make money off tickets or something.

GRAVEDIGGER

Gravedigger (yes, the monster truck) has become a hero in our family. One evening, Addison was fussy and I was struggling to boost her spirits. thinking back on a radio spot I heard earlier that day, I repeated the low, slow garble, "GRAVEDIGGER." Addison thought it was hilarious.
Not to be outdone, Savannah wanted to make Addison laugh also, so she repeated in a not so low and not so slow tone, "GRAVEDIGGER." Addison thought Savannah's version was much funnier. And so it began. For the last week, walking by our house or car, you may very well hear Savannah or I (or most likely, both) saying "GRAVEDIGGER" and fits of laughter ensuing.
Friends have teased that it figures that my children are humored by monster trucks, but I say, "If it works, use it."
